My love of books began as a little girl. I remember being in the kids section at the library, sitting on the carpeted stairs that led up to a stage of books:-) I would sit for hours with a stack of books next to me, picking up one at a time, feeling the hard plastic cover in my hands, and hearing the crinkle as I opened the cover. My mom was in the distance, I'm not sure what she was doing, but she gave me this gift of time; I am forever grateful.
So let's begin with my first share, and how my mind makes connections all the time to my bookshelf. I'll never forget in college when we were given the photo assignment to photograph a 12x12' area using one roll of film. This got me thinking of the amazing One Painting A Day book! It offers you an inspiring six-week course exploring the timeless traditions of observational painting through daily experience and routine.
